Uncomfortable beds and rooms needed some deep cleaning. Outlets were loose and Wifi was spotty. Woken up 2 days in a room even with do not disturb sign out for housekeeping. Breakfast was not good. Gravy had a layer on top both days, juice smelled fermented and the waffles had a bitter taste to it. Other choices were not good and we ended up getting breakfast elsewhere. Upon checkout, no one was at desk, but all our paperwork was set out on the counter for all to see and/or take. We had read the review and decided to take a chance to save on some driving time to our family's homes. We won't do this again.

Breakfast was bare & minimal to the point of finding nothing to eat - nothing in the refrigerator either! Front desk people were not friendly - I asked for 1st floor & was told nothing available even noticing that hardly anyone was staying there & I was rationed bath towels so had to use multiple times! 730am vaccuming & 9am knocked on my door to see if I was leaving yet. Wi-Fi stunk! All around not a place I’m going to stay ever again - especially at those prices! I had another reservation there but instantly cancelled - we used to go there all the time before spring 2022 & always enjoyed our stays - what a shame will stay in Alexandria instead.

The hotel over charged our credit card. When we went to cancel the itinerary number wasn't the itinerary number that goes with the reservation. After many phone calls we find out that we called the local hotel to make the reservation but the hotel made the reservation through expedia. When we called expedia the itinerary number wasn't an expendia number. Something is very fishy about this hotel. Finally they gave me a phone number in Turkey. We finally had to go through the credit card to cancel.

Stayed last year for deer hunting and other past times and it was wonderful. Opened breakfast early for hunters and was great. Breakfast before was eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, and normal danish, cereal, muffins, juice. This time COLD biscuits and gravy (gravy was not even in a warmer), mini muffins, mini choclate donuts, and walmart yogurt. Wouldn't fill a gentleman's coffer thermos for hunting. Made him use the ones in breakfast area that you need to pump. Why wouldn't you just fill his, just made more work and poor customer service!

The review from pmhander is spot on. The pool is closed and it will never reopen. The owners say its to much work. They cannot afford the pool chemicals or the propane to heat the pool. Breakfast is a joke. They had some wal-mart yogurt, some small muffins from the gas station on the corner and some warm apple juice. Same everyday for a week. The place is not clean at all. The owners are trying to run and clean the hotel by themselves. The sheets on the bed are torn and yellow. There were no cleaning supplies on the cleaning cart during our entire stay. I dont know what they use to sanitize the place with? We will never stay there again. We used to stay a couples times a year to visit family in Parkers. Other family members have also stopped staying there and are staying in Alexandria now.

Our party of 4 couples arrived and were told that the 2 couples that had used booking.com to reserve their rooms there was no record of their reservation. They only had one room available, so the other couple had to drive to Alexandria to find a place to stay. Fortunately, they found one. Our rooms were clean and quiet. Breakfast the next day was not the best. One of the gallons of milk were bad, the juice was sour and fizzy, and there was no fruit. Some went to a nearby gas station to buy some bananas. While we wear checking out, we talked to couple who were there to confirmation their booking of a block of rooms for their upcoming wedding, but we’re told there was no record of that reservation either. Unacceptable. I understand that it has come under new management recently, but they need to get it together.

With the change in ownership/management to those who are taking over hotels in MN there is a decline in service. One morning they were vacuuming at 7 in the morning. So much for sleeping in. The beds are still good and the rooms are the same as they have been.

Breakfast has really gone down in quality. There used to be the usual plus eggs and sausage, or biscuits and gravy, or omelets - no more. There was hot chocolate mix but no hot water. There was oatmeal but no microwave to cook it.

When we got in our room, I saw extension cords hanging from both tv’s. We soon found out why, we had to keep unplugging the dish receiver to reset it. Several times it took over a half an hour of this to get a channel to come on. We called the desk and had an employee come and check it out only to hear from everyone we have no idea what’s wrong. When checking out we complained and the manager said that this room has had problems, when we asked to be compensated she gave us a whole $15 dollars off. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

This is a great place to stay. The pool and hot tub were very relaxing,rooms were spacious and clean. They serve a full hot breakfast until 10am. I would stay here again if in the area. Polly at the front desk was very accommodating and friendly.

We had 3 rooms to stay here during opening season of Minnesota deer hunting weekend. Rooms and accommodations were clean, staff was friendly and flexible as they moved the breakfast times to work with those heading to the woods early in the morning. Excellent experience. WiFi was not the best but we were there to hunt so all was good. I would certainly stay again.
